Essence Atkins, Lamman Rucker, Caryn Ward Talk New Film, N-Secure

When a businessman's seemingly minor insecurities turn into major drawbacks, there's bound to be some crazy drama. Add to that a little murder, suspense, and romance and you've got a great indie flick, called "N-Secure", heading to theaters October 15th.

Starring Essence Atkins ("Half and Half"), Cordell Moore ("Diary of a Mad Black Woman", the play), Denise Boutte ("Meet the Browns") Lamman Rucker ("Why Did I Get Married Too"), Tempestt Bledsoe ("The Cosby Show"), Caryn Ward ("The Game"), and Elise Neal ("My Manny", "Hustle & Flow"), "N-Secure" obviously has a great cast of familiar faces and is the film debut for Moore who you may recognize from Tyler Perry's stage plays.

The story centers around David Washington (Moore). He's good-looking, successful, and even charming. But beneath it all is a controlling, vengeful man who will stop at nothing to protect his image and keep what he believes he owns. And soon Robin, the ex-fiance portrayed by Atkins, and Tina, the current bride-to-be played by Boutte, come to realize David is more than a little insecure.

Shot totally in Memphis, "N-Secure", was produced by Julius Lewis, a prominent local concert promoter and directed by David M. Matthews ("Half and Half"). "N-Secure" is his directorial debut. The film is co-written by Lewis and actress, Christine Taylor ("Yogi Bear", "Dodgeball"). Interestingly, Taylor is also the wife of actor, Ben Stiller.

Recently, I talked with the director and cast members about the film and their roles. So watch my interviews, share them with friends, and be sure to check the "N-Secure" official website for ticket information. Again, the film hits theaters OCTOBER 15th. Support it!
